YOUNG actress Denise Laurel, who is among the casts of "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Kristine Series", cleared issues involving her family.

News circulated last week that Denise has lots of show on the Kapamilya network because her family is one of the stockholders of ABS-CBN.
The actress clarified that all these are untrue.
"Hindi po totoo yun. You can even check on the Internet. I heard something na ang dahilan kaya ang dami ko daw pong project with ABS-CBN ay dahil stockholder ang pamilya namin dito," she said.
Kristine Series is her fourth project in the Precious Heart Romances TV adaptation.
Denise wants to earn projects not because of her family but with the work she'd done in her past projects.
"I'd like that my work will speak for itself," she said.
The 23-year-old actress is part of the well-established Laurel family. She's the granddaughter of former Vice President the late Salvador Laurel and great granddaughter of late President Jose Laurel.
She's also the granddaughter of theatre actress Celia Diaz and daughter of David Laurel.
Denise is the cousin of singer Franco Laurel and known designer Rajo Laurel.
She said that though she's of age already she still consults her parents, siblings and grandparents with her career.
"I consult my parents, my brother and my grandparents. I have them in mind whatever I do but they trust me with everything."
