Swat team gets bullet proof vest

MEMBERS of the Special Weapon and Tactics (Swat) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Negros Oriental received Friday bullet proof vests from Representative Pryde Henry Teves in a simple turnover ceremony at Camp Fernandez, Agan-an, in Sibulan.

Teves said the vests were donated by Anaheim Police Department in California, USA. Anaheim Police Department, he said, changed its bullet proof vests every year.

Upon knowing that the vests are still usable, he decided to ask for Swat personnel in Negros Oriental province.

PNP Provincial Director Augusto Marquez Jr. said Teves was also responsible for having the Swat team in the province.

Teves, together with Representative George Arnaiz, sponsored the training of Swat personnel in Negros Occidental. (VLC)
