"I'M happy for her. I am sending her off happily." These were the words of former governor of Compostela Valley for three terms, Gov. Jose Caballero, when asked how he feels as the father of the bride.
Gov, as he is fondly called, had always been a supportive dad and mentor to his beloved daughter's political career. Kristine served as board member of the province from 2003 to 2007.
Having won in the recent May elections under the Liberal Party, she is now a board member of Compostela Valley's second district and is the only female legislator of the province.

The matrimony took place on July 24 at the Sta. Ana Church which was bedecked in an all-white adornment of flowers.
The reception and presentation was at the Davao Convention and Trade Center, which also had an all-white theme, meticulously arranged by Noel Tanza of Golden Touch.

The family of the groom who went home from the Unites States comprised the entourage as well. Groom's brother Dr. Eric B. Rañon served as best man paired with another doctor, Dr. Katrina Caballero, the bride's sister who stood as her maid of honor.
Jose Karlo T Caballero II was groomsman and bridesmaid was Krisna Samantha T. Caballero, both siblings of the bride. Other members of the entourage were groomsmen and bridesmaids Sherad Anthony S. Sanchez and Maria Ayra Celina S. Batacan; Dr. Gene Paul J. Lumanlan and Mae Ann C. Cortez; Engr. Xavier C. Colipano and Ana Katrina G. Caballero.
Cyril Benedict V. Conanan was ring bearer while Josue Vito Z. Tesado carried the symbolic coins. Ric Julian Po was the Bible bearer and the pretty Flower Girls were Alessandra Monique L. Ang, Cassandra Denise L. Ang, Patrixia Ann D. Parreno, Maria Renee N. Caballero and Cassandra Faye F. Gacal.
