THE beauty and diversity of Davao City were showcased in the grand launch of My City My SM at the SM City Davao last August 6.

In her speech during the launching, SM Regional Operations Manager Debby A. Go explained the new print ad campaign of SM City Davao to highlight the wonderful history and culture, scenic attractions, and people that have become part of the communities they have served.

The idea was formed by Vice President for Marketing and Communications Group, Millie Dizon last year now dubbed as My City My SM.

"The project aims to highlight pride of place through print communications campaign in order for us to share with you our shoppers, and of course to the rest of the Philippines, the uniqueness of our host provinces." Said Go.

"The My City My SM ad campaign features two prominent personalities from the province who would serve as a tourist guide, guiding the reader around his or her city, introducing places to go, things to do, restaurants to discover, people they love, and the off-beaten track places they would want to share with everybody else," she added.

The My City My SM ad campaign is truly a journey into the heart and soul of a city, and it is a journey where we were given a chance to strengthen existing friendships, make new ones and value partnerships.
