MANILA -- The much-awaited Precious Hearts Romances series topbilled by Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes is set to air Monday night.
"Martha Cecilia's Kristine" is the newest offering of the network base from the most successful pocketbook in Philippine history turned into nightly television program.
Cristine will play the part of Jewel Fortalejo, the younger of two sisters but the one holding off her elder sister from doing any mischief.
Zanjoe breathe life to the character of Jaime, a strong, independent but kind-hearted man. He will go back to Paso de Blas upon learning that the De Silva's azucarera business is in deep financial trouble.
He will be looking for Marco de Silva, portrayed by Rafael Rosell, who is the heir to the De Silva industries.
Rafael is a lawyer but had accepted that it will be his fate to succeed in business and his turn to play and win the clan war between the Fortalejos and the De Silvas.
But as fate has it, he will find his self meeting a Fortalejo in the name of Kristine Emerald, which is being played by Denise Laurel.
Emerald is a novel writer who makes people believe in love through her works, but she is the greatest skeptic of one true love.
