MANILA -- Malacanang on Monday formally launched the website of President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III at www.president.gov.ph.
The website was officially opened for public access at 12 noon Monday.
Upon clicking the site, it flashes several famous remarks of the newly-elected President such as “Kayo ang boss ko”, “Piliin natin ang daaang matuwid”, and “Iba na tayo ngayon, Bagong Pilipinas”.
As expected, it has links to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Friendster, and Multiply.
The website also has portions like Panata sa Pagbabago where people or civic group could submit their pledge for the country’s improvement.
It also has Transparent Government portion where the public could directly relate to the President their wants in the new administration.
Other parts of the website are latest news, my cabinet, photos, videos, and tito noy where the President reminded children of some traditional Filipino values such as saying po and opo.
As of this posting, a briefing is being held in New Executive Building by Presidential Communications Group head Sonny Coloma to explain the features of the website. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
