CLGCFI commits to better business environment

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The provincial governor-members of the Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Incorporated (CLGCFI) has intensified its commitment in sustaining a business and investment enabling environment in the region.

Governor Lilia Pineda has lauded the CLGCFI’s primordial role in streamlining the business processes in the issuance of mayors’ permits. Pineda hailed the foundation during the election of its new set of officers held at Holiday Inn on Sunday.

The new set of elected officers are Aurora Governor Bellaflor Angara Castillo, President; Bulacan Governor Willie Alvarado, Vice-President; Tarlac Governor Vic Yap, Secretary; Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, Treasurer; while the members are Bataan Governor Enrique Garcia, Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane, Nueva Ecija Governor Aurelio Umali, and Department of Trade and Industry in Central Luzon Director Blesila Lantayona.

Pineda said as elected officer of CLGCFI, she wants to be updated on the road map of the foundation and the areas of cooperation they could share for the continuing performance of the group of governors.

Angara-Castillo, meanwhile, asked the full cooperation of all members and officers of the CLGCFI for the fulfillment of its programs and activities.
