Iya shares experience in performing for Brunei princess

DURING the latter part of July, singer and TV host Iya Villania was invited by the royal family of Brunei to perform for the birthday of Princess Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah.

In an interview with Iya, she told Sun.Star that it was an overwhelming experience for her to perform for the royal family.

"Napaka-unreal... Alam mo yung may list ka na you want to attain, ako yung to perform for a royal family wala yun sa listahan ko kasi I felt napaka unattainable nya," she said.

Iya shared when the invitation came to her manager Carlo Orosa, she was very excited but she learned to hold her excitement until she's in Brunei. Iya stayed there for three days.

During the party, Iya sung "Bad Romance", "Money Honey", "Last Dance", "Love Song", and "Smile".

After the performance, Princess Rashidah gave Iya a limited-edition Louis Vuitton bag.

"I wasn't expecting it and it was already great opportunity to be invited to sing for the princess but to receive something is different," added Iya.

The TV host shared that she never used the LV bag because it is very special and she's afraid to ruin the beauty of it.
