THE Sabado Club of University of St. La Salle (USLS) soared to its second win when it plunged to actions Saturday and Sunday, as NCTV-Silay also secured its second win in Women's B and Men's A categories, respectively.

The even happened in the second weekends actions of the Negros Occidental Volleyball Association (Nova)-organized 2nd Bro, Ceci Hojilla Memorial Cup Volleyball Championship at University of St. La Salle College Covered Court.

Sabado Club composed mainly of former USLS standouts beat the Provincial Capitol Employees, 25-12, 25-7 and 25-13 Saturday and followed with a triumph over SJI Alumni, 25-12, 25-11 and 25-23 in Women's B.

USLS-CAS also beat SJI Alumni, 25-14, 25-15 and 25-20, while Silay City defeated Teleperformance, 25-15, 25-6 and 25-9 in Saturday's matches. Provincial Capitol Employees, on the other hand, walloped Silay City, 25-7, 25-12 and 25-10 as USLS-CAS won by default over Teleperformance on Sunday.

After its initial victory last August 7 against Men at Work (MAW), 25-16, 23-25, 25-18 and 25-23, NCTV-Silay defeated the Provincial Capitol Employees, 25-18, 25-23, 19-25, 22-25 and 13-15 in Men's B Bracket A.

Murcia Volleyball Club also won in the same bracket against Men at Work (MAW) Volleyball Club, 25-22, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-20.

Silay City also scored against USLS-CAS, 25-16, 25-21 and 25-23, while Mandalagan Volleyball Club won over Shape-Up, 25-16, 26-24 and 25-17 in Men's B,

In the lone Women's A match, University of St. La Salle Lady Stingers defeated Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Eagles, 25-13, 25-17 and 25-16.

Roger A. Banzuela, Nova president, said 25 teams completed the tournament in all divisions, the Class A and Class B. Class A is open division for men and women, while Class B will be for employees and non-varsity/former varsity division for men and women.
