CITY OF SAN FERNANDO --- Elements of the provincial police on Monday arrested a suspected leader of a carnapping syndicate operating in Central Luzon.
The suspect was identified as one Roger Santos Dominguez, alias “Ogie,” 32, married, of Purok 3, Barangay Iba Este, Malolos, Bulacan, an alleged leader of the notorious Dominguez carnapping group operating in the region.
Pampanga Police Provincial Director Petronio Retirado said Dominguez was arrested at Saint Dominic Corinthian in Barangay Dolores here.
The suspect’s arrest was made by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Basilio R. Gabo, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 11 in Malolos, Bulacan.
Dominguez was involved in carnapping with homicide with criminal case Number 2787-M-2009 with no bail recommended.
Retirado said Dominguez and his alleged members are also being tagged as the ones responsible in several carnapping incidents in Pampanga over the past few years.
