A 21-YEAR-OLD suspect facing frustrated homicide charges was nabbed Monday afternoon in front of his residence at Barangay Villamonte by elements of Police Station (PS) 4

Chief Inspector Danilo Francisco, PS 4 chief, said that the suspect was Jerson Pesales of Purok Pugad-Baboy, Old PC Compound, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

He was nabbed about 5:30 p.m. Monday, by a local policemen team led by Inspector Charles Gever by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gorgonio Ybanez, Branch 48 of Regional Trial Court, Bacolod City for frustrated homicide. Bail was fixed at P24,000 for his temporary liberty.

Pesales is presently detained at Police Station 4 lock up cell for failure to post bail.

On the other hand, three persons who are allegedly members of the Santillan and Virus gangs were nabbed by elements of Police Station 8.

Chief Inspector Placido Gentoleo, PS 8 chief, identified the suspects as Jr Cles, Alvin Talahuron and Gerald Talahuron, all residents of Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.

Gentoleo said Celis was allegedly a leader of the newly organized Virus Gang in the city. Celis was nabbed last week by combined elements of Bacolod City Police Office Intelligence Unit and PS 8 personnel in said barangay. Police recovered from the possession and control of the suspect one Acer laptop.

Alvin and Gerald Talahuron were allegedly members of the Santillan Gang operating within the area of Barangay Pahanocoy. They were caught with an improvised firearm - a sulpak - with 12-gauge shotgun ammunition and a bladed weapon.

Charges were already filed against the said suspects, Gentoleo added.
