MANILA -- President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday remained tight-lipped on the issue of Hacienda Luisita.
"I cannot comment on something that is sub judice," he said as an oral argument of the case has been conducted at the Supreme Court.
"I’ve been cautioned that I am President of the Republic, my opinion carries a lot of weight," the President added.
He noted that he will remain mum on the matter until the court determines what he has to do being the Chief Executive and executor of laws. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
