IN choosing a trademark, businessmen should choose a word or symbol that is distinct and unique, which means it should not be generic or descriptive of the product or services. They may be:
(a)marks which are specially coined or invented (and not dictionary words);

(b)marks which are fancifully or arbitrarily applied; or
(c)marks which are not descriptive but merely suggestive of the benefits or features of the products and services.
