THE body of the University of Makati student who died of injuries allegedly inflicted during a “hazing” or initiation rites conducted by members of the Alpha Phi Omega (APO) was found in Laguna province, report said Friday.
A television report said that Laguna police found the body of Carl Intia, 19 on Sunday afternoon dumped near a 30-foot deep cliff in Barangay Laurel in Sta. Maria town.
Intia's body was brought to a funeral parlor in Famy town in Laguna.
Police were convinced that Intia was a victim of hazing due to the injuries his body bore that indicates he was hit by a paddle.
Intia was missing since last Sunday.
He is taking Building and Wiring Management course under the College of Technology Management. (Sunnex)
