Lawmakers to have longer working hours (10:02 a.m.)
THE legislative work schedule of congressmen and senators will become longer after the scheduled breaks of the lawmakers in a year were reduced, a television report said.
According to the Resolution number 2, congressional working days have been pegged at 227 days from the current 136 days.
This means that a two-week break of lawmakers in November and a three-month break from February-May will be dropped from the congressional calendar. (Sunnex)
