A BASILAN-BASED Philippine Marines commander will serve as the acting commander of Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) Vice Rear Admiral Alexander Pama.

This developed as the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) held in abeyance the assumption of Rear Admiral Feliciano Angue as the new NFWM commander pending the conduct of investigation on Angue's alleged violation of the military's Code of Ethics and Articles of War.
