IT CAME as a surprise to actress Angel Locsin when the entertainment press during the "Us Girls August Awards 2010" held at Icon Bar at Intercontinental Hotel, Makati asked her about her financial status.
Angel doesn't know that people are talking about her finances and cleared that she is not having any money problem.
"Never naman akong nagkuwento about sa money, pero siyempre hindi naman ako naghihirap,” she said.
The Kapamilya actress owns a bar in Quezon City area and is investing for her two new homes.
“Para sa akin kasi, hindi ako nagyayabang or ano man, parang hindi ako mayaman, pero okay pa naman. Paano ba, parang hindi naman ako tatanda nang hindi ko iniisip ang future ko.”
Angel added that even if she will leave showbiz now, she will be okay.
But when asked if it is true that she was bored during the time when she doesn't have any project with ABS-CBN, the actress said: “Yes, there was a time".
“Syempre, lahat naman di ba nagtratrabaho. Hindi ako magpapaka-plastic, nainip ako. Pero buti na lang ang ABS-CBN, yung mga projects na ginagawa nila, maganda ang qualities. Yun talaga ang iniisip ko na once binigyan ako eh hindi ko talaga pagsisihan,” she said.
Right now, Angel is doing a primetime bida soap with Box-Office King John Lloyd Cruz entitled "Imortal".
She is also set to grace the big screen in the upcoming Star Cinema movie with Aga Muhlach.
“Sa totoo lang, every day ako nagtratrabaho ngayon because of Imortal and yung movie. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for Imortal. Then, Tuesday and Thursday ko naman ang nasa movie."
Print and television commercials are also keeping the actress busy.
With all the blessings coming her way, Angel doesn't want to complain and just prefers to focus on her career for she knows the value of hard work. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
