MANILA -- Malacañang on Sunday ordered review of enforcement of road regulation following consecutive road accidents, including fatal car crash in Bicol that killed a former beauty queen.
Palace spokesman Ricky Carandang said there is a need for a stricter implementation of traffic rules and regulations to avoid wastage of life due to road recklessness.
"The issue here is enforcement. We have traffic rules and regulations but we lack enforcement," Carandang said.
The latest victim of the incident was 2009 Bb. Pilipinas Miss International Melody Gerbach, who died with two others on Saturday.
