INDEPENDENT and mainstream actor Coco Martin confirmed that he has a love scene with young actress Shaina Magdayao in the movie "Sa 'Yo Lamang".
Known for his daring roles both in television and movie, Coco shared that he was a bit shy and hesitant to do the scene with Shaina.
"Thankful ako sa tiwalang binigay sa akin ni Shaina. Ito kasi yung kauna-unahang love scene niya and para sa akin medyo nakakatakot yun kasi since ito yung first, baka after ayaw na niyang gumawa," he said.
Coco added that they successfully shot the bed scene and director Laurice Guillen is happy with the outcome.
It also came as a surprise for the actor that Shaina accepted something that is daring in a movie.
But Coco saw the young star's eagerness to learn and perfect her acting skills.
"Respeto na lang din kay John Lloyd kasi nahihiya ako. Baka mamaya ma-offend siya," he confessed.
"Sa 'Yo Lamang" marks the first mainstream movie of the actor who was discovered from his independent film "Masahista".
Aside from the movie, which will premiere this September 1 in more than 100 theaters nationwide, Coco is also part of ABS-CBN's kantaserye "Idol" with Sarah Geronimo and Sam Milby. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
