2 weather disturbances spotted (6:34 a.m.)

THE state weather bureau has spotted Wednesday two Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) east of Central Luzon.

In its 2 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) spotted the first LPA based on satellite and surface data at 430 kilometers east of Central Luzon.

Another weather disturbance was estimated at 1,030 kilometers east of Central Luzon.

Pagasa said the whole country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with occasional to frequent rains over extreme Northern Luzon and Eastern Luzon.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southeast to southwest over the rest of the country, it added.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (Sunnex)
