Billy Crawford marks 25th year

INTERNATIONAL singer Billy Crawford will celebrate his 25 years in the entertainment business via his upcoming concert dubbed "25 B.C."

The three-day concert is slated September 11, 18, and 25 at the Music Museum.

Billy will be joined by his lady love Nikki Gil, co-ASAP VX stars Sarah Geronimo, Iya Villania and more.

Billy said he is very thankful that he's been in showbiz for 25 years already and his career is still going strong.

He also reminisced his "That's Entertainment" days which he believes molded and helped him become successful not only here in Manila but abroad as well.

But when asked if he's really throwing his international career, the singer shared he never said he will stop performing abroad and that he even is looking forward to return to Paris, France.

“Never naman akong nag-give up. I'm just saying na nandito ako ngayon sa Pilipinas and I'm focus on that.”

Billy is currently under contract with ABS-CBN and is doing two shows, "ASAP XV" and "Panahon Ko To", and one other project is set to be launched in the coming days.

“You know when you try something and it works, you go with it. And when you're at the top you can only go down. When you're number one, wala ka nang ibang pupuntahan, so it's a start program again. Pero never ako nagsabi na I stopped my international career,” he said.

He added that during his recent trip to France, people are still showing interest in him and he's happy with that.

The singer is set to return to the city of lights by next year to revive his international career and promote his album abroad.

Billy is not afraid of leaving his career here in the Philippines because he's confident that the Filipino people will still welcome him with open arms just like what everybody did in 2007. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
