AROUND 300 families were displaced after a fire razed more than 200 houses in two villages in Navotas City on Thursday night.
The fire broke out around 6:25 p.m. and quickly spread to the houses made of light materials in West and Pitong Gatang villages.
Firefighters had a hard time to stop the fire as roads leading to the area were narrow.
Fire authorities declared the fire under control at around 10:30 p.m.
No one was initially injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, the fire victims were already evacuated in three evacuation centers.(Sunnex)
