37,000 pass nursing board exam (2:20 p.m.)

THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday that more than 37,000 of 91,008 examinees passed the Nurse Licensure Examination held on July 3 and 4.

The 37,679 examinees passed the July nursing board exam held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The board passers should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

They are required to bring: a duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), two pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), a 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of metered documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope with name and profession;

They are also required to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2010 to 2013.

The oath-taking ceremonies for successful examinees in Manila will be held before the Philippine Nursing Board on September 20 and 21 at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

All must come in their white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage. They are not allowed to wear earrings or a corsage and their hair must not touch the collar. (Sunnex)
