Companies slash oil prices (7:36 a.m.)

OIL companies rolled back Saturday the prices of its petroleum products, a radio report said.

Shell, Shevron, SeaOil, Flying among others slashed prices of deisel, gasoline and kerosene by P.50 per liter at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

On 6 a.m. Petron also made similar reduction.

The reduction was due to the falling of prices of the imported oil in the world market.

Meanwhile, the price of every kilo of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will increase on September, the LPG Marketers' Association said.

The possible increase of every kilo of the LPG will be P1.50 to P2.

With this, the possible increase of the 11-kilo LPG will be P16 to P22 next month. (Sunnex)
