No marriage yet for Mariel, Robin

FINALLY, TV host-actress Mariel Rodriguez cleared rumors that she got married with Robin Padilla during their trip in India.

Mariel answered all the intrigues in Manila via Entertainment Live Saturday.

On the issue of Robin calling her as his wife, Mariel said it was just a normal gesture of the Bad Boy of Philippine movies and she's touched by it but they are not married yet.

“Nagulat din, nakakagulat din, pero ganun talaga sya pag meron syang someone special. Ganun nya tratuhin talaga," she said.

“I came back with my wife" Robin was quoted as saying when he gave a short speech in Noble School in Alipur.

Officials of the institution introduce Mariel as the "soon-to-be-wife" of the actor.

Though they still haven't said their “I do" to each other, Mariel confirmed there were talks between them about marriage.

“Napaguusapan namin, wala pang definite kung kelan pero its just a nice thing to talk about,” she said.

She repeated anew that they will never hide it from the public, adding now is just not the appropriate time to talk about these kind of things because Robin is dealing with his kids’ welfare.

To recall, Liezel Sycangco, former wife of Robin, alleged that the actor has no more time for their children.

Mariel meanwhile admitted that they return to the country because Robin will process all the papers of his youngest child Ali.

Liezel wants Ali to live with her in Australia.

With all the things happening now, Mariel treats herself as the "one true love" of the actor and not his "great love" because she thinks she cannot compete with Robin's 20 years marriage to Liezel.

She further said that she never felt this contented and happy because of Robin.

She said she will never get tired of the actor because everything goes well when they are together.

Mariel, Robin, Ali, and his other daughter Kylie is on an out of the country trip right now.

Mariel will also undergo surgery once she's back in Manila.

She apparently has a Dermoid Cyst in her ovary that needs to be extracted soon. “Para na daw syang apple, so kailangan ko na talaga syang tanggalin.”

Mariel cleared that she got it when she was just 18 years old and the cyst is benign. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
