‘Sa 'Yo Lamang’ hits theaters Sept. 1

IN CELEBRATION of its 17th year in the movie industry, Star Cinema will showcase the family-drama "Sa 'Yo Lamang" starting Wednesday, September 1, on major theaters nationwide.

This movie is topbilled by Bea Alonzo, Zanjoe Marudo, Diether Ocampo, Christopher de Leon, and Lorna Tolentino.

At a press conference at Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN, the casts shared that they too are touched by the inspiring plot of the movie.

Bea, whose acting is "superb" according to Christopher de Leon, was familiar with most of the scenes. She admitted the story is close to her real life.

For Diether's part, he said he was deeply touched by Christopher's character on how he tried to stand up for his family even if he does not have much to offer.

Christopher derives his inspiration from his family. "They are my source of strength and pushing me to work hard. They are something I live for."

Lorna, on the other hand, tries to draw strength from her two grown-up sons with the late actor Rudy Fernandez.

Lorna believed that "Sa 'Yo Lamang" will touch everyone's heart because it depicts the real Filipino family.

This heartwarming movie will also feature other Kapamilya stars like Coco Martin, Shaina Magdayao, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales, Miles Ocampo, and Lauren Young. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
