CANDABA -- Several vendors have reiterated their request to the Municipal Government to undertake major repairs in the town’s public market due to its worst and dilapidated condition.

The vendors said this is the second time they sought the help of media to bring the issue of repair before the office of the mayor. However, a few months after their first attempt, there had been no initiative from the local officials to repair the public market, they claimed.

Sun.Star Pampanga visited the said public market and observed its sorry condition.

The vendors also pointed out that the market was constructed more than twenty years ago.

The market caters to residents from the villages in the riverside of the Kapampangan region.

Meanwhile, the vendors lauded the Municipal Government for the renovated and well maintained comfort rooms in the market.
