MANILA -- President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III confirmed that the full report of the Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC) and his much-awaited recommendation on the botched hostage-taking last August 23 will be released next week.
Aquino started to go over the IIRC report and the separate review of his legal team after returning from his week-long working visit in the United States last Tuesday.
The President deferred his recommendation on the report, citing he would want further review on it.
He tasked his legal team composed of Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Eduardo de Mesa to study the report. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
