MANILA -- President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III sets a dialogue with leaders of the Catholic Church in relation to family planning and reproductive health.
"May si-net kaming dialogue sa mga ilang Obispo ng simbahan,” the President disclosed while citing that his support for the move was traced during the campaign period.
When asked if he is saddened by the looming protest of the Church, Aquino said: "Kaya nga mag-dialogue para magkakaroon tayo ng consensus kung ano gagawin natin tungkol dito."
Bishop Nereo Odchimar, president of the Catholic Bishops of the Conference, clarified an earlier statement of possibly ex-communicating Aquino should he pursue support on contraceptive use. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
