A REGIONAL Trial Court (RTC) judge in Ilocos Sur died when unidentified suspects shot him Monday morning, a radio report said.
Report said the victim, identified as RTC Branch 20 Judge Reynaldo Lacasandile, was about to go to Vigan at 4:45 a.m. when suspects riding a motorcycle shot him twice in a national highway in Barangay Lacong, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
The suspects immediately fled.
Authorities are still conducting a hot pursuit operation to identify the suspects and the motive behind the ambush. (Sunnex)
