All set for Aquino’s first 100 days report

MANILA -- Several guests from multi-sectoral groups trooped to La Consolacion College in Mendiola, Manila Thursday to witness President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III as he reports his achievements for his first 100 days in office.

As early as 8 a.m., representatives from the business sector, transport, environment, religious and ecumenical groups, government employees, students, showbusiness and markets vendors started to gather at the venue.

President Aquino is expected to arrive at 10 a.m.

The event dubbed “Isang Daang Araw sa Isang Daang Matuwid: Report Kay Boss” will be a town hall meeting format where Aquino could interact with his audiences.

Upon his arrival, he will be greeted by various multi-sectoral representatives namely Jesus Antiquera (public school teacher), Senior Police Officer 4 Rogelio Quejada (policeman), Senior Sergeant Joselito Sotomil (Philippine Army), Bernadette Sese (call center agent), Raul Echipare (doctor), Raisa Nagrampa (youth), Wilfredo Santader (farmer), Jainab Abdul Majid (Islam believer), a jeepney driver and an informal settler.

Members of the Cabinet will also be present at the audience row.

Four sectoral representatives are invited to form a panel to ask questions to the President.

Aquino will also entertain questions via Skype from Baguio City, Cebu City, Davao City, San Franciso California, Riyadh Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong.

The moderators will be Aquino's cousin actress-model Mikee Cojuangco and Mari Oquinena. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
