THE Supreme Court (SC) investigating panel will meet Monday to conduct a hearing on the blast that rocked a university where the last day of examinations for aspiring lawyers took place.

A radio report said the panel will consolidate reports made by Manila Police District and the National Bureau of Investigation that investigated the incident.

They will also study how to improve security protocols so the incident will not happen again.

Initial police investigations revealed that the explosion, which occurred outside the De La Salle University campus along Taft Avenue on September 26 this year after the Bar exams, was perpetrated by warring fraternity groups.

Investigators were given until October 15 to pass recommendations to Chief Justice Renato Corona. (Sunnex)
