A MINOR was killed while another was injured when a hand grenade was thrown Sunday night into a house in Veruela town, Agusan del Sur.
A Bombo Radyo report said the incident resulted in the wounding of Daryl Navarro Mahabuhay, 12, and Bernard Sanggo Manguinimba, 38. They were both residents of Veruela town.
The victims were rushed to Bunawan District Hospital but Mahabuhay was declared dead on arrival.
Authorities identified the suspect as Joseph Lazano.
Lazano allegedly threw the hand grenade into the house of Reynaldo Maestrado Navarro, a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Binongan, in the said town.
Initial investigation said personal grudge was the motive behind the incident.
Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect. (Sunnex)
