FIVE miners were injured when the Elf truck they were riding slammed into a riprap in Poblacion, Itogon town, Benguet at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
A Bombo Radyo report said the victims, who are yet to be identified, are now undergoing medical treatment at Baguio General Hospital.
They all sustained wounds in different parts of their body.
The miners reportedly came from Balatoc Mines in Itogon town and were headed to Poblacion.
Initial investigation said the victims, including the driver, were drunk when the incident happened. (Sunnex)
