THE education department has reminded barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) election candidates that schools should be spared from campaign paraphernalia.
A radio report said the Department of Education will coordinate with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in going after candidates who will post campaign materials in schools.
The poll body has also reminded candidates that the official campaign period for the October 25 political exercise will start on October 14.
The Comelec has observed that campaign paraphernalia were already placed in some areas, especially in Manila. (Sunnex)
