2 die, 5 hurt in Laguna shooting incident

TWO people died while five others were injured in a shooting incident in a town in Laguna province before dawn Wednesday.

A radio report said that the suspect was initially identified as Teodulo Lizare, 29, and a former member of the Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit.

Lizare allegedly fired on the people in Layugan village in Pagsanjan town after having an argument with a fellow drinker.

The victims who were killed were identified as Boy Flores and Mylene Dollas. The five people who were injured are yet to be identified.

The suspect immediately fled after the incident.

Recovered from the crime scene were 15 M-16 shells.

Authorities are conducting investigation to arrest the suspect. (Sunnex)
