Palace orders continuous storm monitoring

MANILA -- Malacanang assured Sunday that all concerned agencies are in place for incoming typhoon Juan (international name Megi).

Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte reminded the public to remain vigilant amid fair weather conditions in Metro Manila Sunday.

Typhoon Juan is expected to make landfall anytime on Sunday or Monday.

"I would like to emphasize to our parents that we have automatic suspension of classes. When it is signal No.1, there is no class for pre-school. If signal No. 2, from preschool, elementary and high school level walang pasok," she said. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
