MANILA -- The Philippine Stock Exchange index bucked a bomb scare to register an all-time high on Friday.
The PSEi gained 37.82 points or 0.89 percent to 4,286.87, beating the previous record set last Thursday at 4,249.17.
The broader all-share index jumped by 1.01 percent or 27.17 points to 2,717.26 while sub-indices also followed the same vein led by mining and oil which rose by 3.32 percent or 407.58 points to 12,684.18.
Advancers defeated decliners 94 to 41, while 51 stocks remained unchanged. (Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
