TWO school buildings in Pikit twon in North Cotabato province were set on fire early Wednesday.

A radio report said that suspected losing candidates in the October 25 polls used a gasoline to set fire to the buildings located in Gokotan village around 1:30 a.m.

Gokotan village is one of the election hotspots in Pikit town.

The Philippine National Police categorized election hotspot areas into two: first, those with intense political rivalry and second, areas where terror groups operate. (Sunnex)
