"We have a lot of participants on these event, from Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda etc., so we expect that after the forum the participants can come up wtih different ideas on how to protext and conserve more water as one of the sources of living here and to the other parts of the country," sumala pa ni Hydie Maspiñas sa DCWD.

Dugang ni Maspiñas nga usa kini ka giya diin ang mga partisipante makakuha og dugang pagtulun-an kalabot sa organizational ug institutional changes nga gikinahanglan alang sa malungtaron nga probisyon sa suplay sa tubig lakip na serbisyo sa sanitasyon sa mga urban areas.
"The project is also a way to train the top level managers from various countries working with policy and development issues within the national urban water and sanitation sector including public authorities and other local or regional authorities," nila pa.
Dugang ni Maspiñas nga atol sa tigum anaa ang serye sa site visits, workshops, lectures.
"We will visit the site yung sa Paquibato area in line with our water safety plan for indigenous people (IP)," dugang ni Elsie Mae Solidum, Assistant regional Director sa DOST XI.

Sa pikas bahin gipasigarbo sab sa opisyal ang kaanindot ug ka-maayong klase sa tubig ilimnon dinhi sa siyudad.
"We are proud to say na ang water sa Davao is 2nd best water in the world. That's something we can be proud of," ni Maspiñas.
Tungod sab sa kabalaka nga sa di madugay mauga o mawala ang tinubdan sa tubig ilimnon sa siyudad, nanawagan sab ang personahe sa komunidad nga samtang may panahon pa motabang sa pag-amping sa kinaiyahan.
"If we will not act, kelan pa? What we do in the environment will reflect talaga sa mangyayari in the future. Let us also think of the future generation, sa mga anak ng anak natin, sila din yung mag-benefit nila in the end." (ROG)
