MARIJUANA plants seized from a plantation in Kalinga were destroyed by authorities.
The 10,000 fully grown plants had an estimated street value of P2 million.
The plants were uprooted July 18 from an 800-square-meter clearing in Barangay Luccong, Tinglayan town, said Superintendent George Daskeo, Kalinga police officier in charge.
Several remote barangays throughout Cordillera are believed to grow marijuana.
