MANILA -- The Senate committee on health will hold a hearing Wednesday on possible threats posed by radiation from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan.
The hearing, which will be chaired by Senator Pia Cayetano, will discuss the effects of radiation from Japan on the health of Filipinos.
The committee will also discuss contingency plans for "the eventuality of nuclear radiation spreading to the country," an advisory from Cayetano's office read. (Jonathan de Santos/Sunnex)
