CEBU CITY -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now on full alert status starting today, Wednesday, for the Holy Week.
Orlando Ualat, chief of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Visayas Logistics Division, said police will be deployed in strategic areas to ensure the safety of the public this coming Holy Week.
Ualat said they will set up activities to ensure the safety of the public and to avoid untoward accidents during the Lenten season.
Police personnel will also be deployed to conduct inspection on bus terminals, airport, seaports, churches and other places where people tend to congregate. (Sunnex)
