Mavs beat Blazers, lead series 2-0

DALLAS -- The Portland Trail Blazers was once again schooled by Jason Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks as the Blazers lose to Dallas, 101-89.

Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs with 33 points, while Peja Stojakovic had 21 points, where 15 of those coming from his five shots from downtown, which tied his career playoff best. Jason Kidd also donated 18 points in the campaign.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Blazers' campaign with 24 points, but they only got 11 points coming from their bench, all only in the first half.

Dallas has the series lead at 2-0, a feat it never got since the 2006 playoffs.

Game 3 will be on Friday at Portland. (Sunnex)
