Rain expected to pour on royal wedding day

LONDON - British Meteorological Office expects a downpour on Friday, the royal wedding day of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Despite of the good weather forecast last week, the Met Office said there will be a low temperature on April 29 and most of Southern England will experience rain.

Aside from bride-to-be Kate Middleton's gown to possibly soil on wedding day with the expected weather, the royal parade back to Buckingham Palace will also be interrupted.

It was known that Prince William and Kate will ride on an open carriage back to Buckingham Palace, but a closed one will be on standby if rain will pour. However, people won't be able to see the couple.

The royal aide ensured that the balcony kiss will happen despite of the expected weather.

According to Saint James Palace, it depends on the royal couple if they will have an umbrella with them, but the balcony kiss will still happen. (Sunnex)
