3 soldiers wounded by roadside bomb in Compostela

THREE soldiers were wounded in an explosion in Compostela Valley after midnight Friday.

They were identified as Staff Sergeant Perlito C. Mayuga, and Privates First Class Jay L. De Emoy and Phevien Jay B. Delada, all from the Army's 66th Infantry Battalion.

The soldiers were returning to camp after a five-day operation when they were hit by an improvised explosive device in Barangay Ngan, Compostela. (Dexter T. Visitacion)
