STILL creating some fashion frenzy—even while on its second trunk show in Cebu—was the haute couture French valise label Louis Vuitton (LV).
LV dazzled local A-listers with its summer bag collection centered on two main stories: the V and the Ramage, with the former being inspired by the 1965 advertisement, with the “Volez, Voguez, Voyages avec des Valises Louis Vuitton.” Today, the iconic signature is reinterpreted for this collection in summery and playful hues to match the Epi seasonal colors of grenade and turquoise.
At the venue, an LV photo wall was set up where style icons posed for posterity. As cocktail choices were passed around, we took note of the chef’s favorites: Wagyu mini-burgers, manchego cheese croissants with jamon iberico and hazelnut mille-feuille. All these with unlimited, sparkling champagne!
Indeed, the three-day LV show in Cebu was a success. When is trunk show number three?
