Popular sites like 9GAG and Buzzfeed will not keep me entertained for long during days when I am bored or doing nothing. But what usually consume my time surfing the internet and what keeps me entertained and busy is going through the different channels and videos on Youtube.

Recently there have been a couple of Youtube channels that has caught my attention:

1. Household Hacker (www.youtube.com/user/HouseholdHacker)

This is a channel for us 20-somethings who are finding it a challenge to live independently. Household Hacker feature various life hacks that would come in handy from hardware to household to basic cooking hacks. This channel also features videos on gaming, really awesome and cool science videos, and pranks. To date, the channel has 3.2 million subscribers and 418.42 million views since it began in November 2007. You can also visit their website (www.householdhacker.tv) for more content from the creators. Like them on Facebook (www. facebook.com/hacktheplanet) and follow them on Twitter (@householdhacker).

2. Postmodern Jukebox (www.youtube.com/user/ScottBradleeLovesYa)

There are a lot of Youtube channels out there that do covers on today’s popular music but, personally, I think Postmodern Jukebox, created by Scott Bradlee, brings song covers to whole new different level. What they do here is the popular music today are given a twist and some flare as it is sung in the styles of vintage, soul, jazz, Motown, among others. Since its creation in December 2008, the channel has 1.35 million subscribers and garnered 274.76 million views. Visit their website at www.postmodernjukebox.com. Like them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scottbradleemusic and follow them on Twitter (@scottbradlee) and Instagram (@scottbradlee). If you enjoy their music you can buy them on iTunes.

3. Devin Super Tramp (www.youtube.com/user/devinsupertramp)

This channel is a visual treat. The videos are amazing, the cinematography is beautiful, and the content of the videos are cool. To put it simply, the channel is really awesome. Personally, I think this is one of the best channels I have ever found on Youtube. The videos on this channel feature extreme sports, recreational activities, and amazing places and events around the world. You can also check out behind the scene footage on their second channel (www.youtube.com/user/devingraham). Since it was created on June 2010, the channel has 3.33 million subscribers and garnered 604.32 million views.
