#SHORTS: ‘Wildlife Festival’ in Olango Island; Typhoon Hanna weakens; DOH to probe hospital over ‘expired’ medicine

WILDLIFE. The Lapu-Lapu City Tourism Council is planning to mount a Wildlife Festival in Olango Island this October to drum up awareness on wildlife protection and conservation among local stakeholders.

WEATHER. The weather bureau said Typhoon Hanna is still not expected to make landfall in any part of the country and is likely to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Saturday.

HEALTH. Parents of a month-old boy filed a complaint before the Department of Health (DOH) 7 against a private hospital in Cebu City whose nurse allegedly gave them two boxes of expired ointment.
