B-MEG’S contribution to local tennis development is set to take another step forward.
Cagayan de Oro tennis organizer Mario Inguito Craiz recently announced the Nazareth Lawn Tennis Club’s hosting of the B-MEG Juniors Tennis Cup on August 14-18.
The pre-fiesta event, Craiz said, is a manifestation of BMEG’s unwavering support to grassroots tennis development in this northern part of Mindanao.
“Like Cebuana Lhuillier, atong makita nga consistent sab ang suporta sa B-MEG kay every year gapadula gyod sila,” Craiz told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro.
Events on tap are the unisex 10-under, 12-under, 14-under, 16-under and 18-under in singles competition with the doubles also to be played in girls and boys categories.
Ormoc City’s Nicholas Alain (unisex 10U and 12U boys) and Jomarey Dacuyan (14U and16U boys) are among the visitors who already signified their participation.
